Leopold & Luitpold: Imaging Workstations (N.C.02.034)
Leopold and Luitpold are two powerful imaging workstations that were procured together with the MACsima, to allow usage of the Miltenyi imaging analysis software iQ-View. Other software can be made available on request. The operating system is Windows 11.
Both machines have identical hardware. They are located right next to the MACSima and share a common data storage (Synology NAS).
MACS iQ-View, image analaysis software for MACSima data
The iQ view software is the image analaysis software for MACSima data (click to go to vendor web page). It handles the following tasks (manufacturer's list):
• Easy display of hundreds of markers from high-dimensional datasets
• Fast and flexible segmentation
• Interactive gating
• Unbiased data analysis (k-means clustering, UMAP and t-SNE calculation)
• Multiple plotting options (histogram, scatter plot, strip and violin plots, heatmaps)
• Workflow editor
• Distance analyses
It is possible to export images, perform cell segmentation in a separate software and import the segmentation results, to use further conveniant features of the software, such as easy display of multiple markers, analysis by histocytometry (flow sorter like gating of cells).
