Lectures on Microscopy and a STED workshop in Fall 2016
New educational events promote knowledge on light microscopy.

During fall 2016, the following educational events will take place at the Core Facility Bioimaging.
The "Fundamentals of Advanced Light Microscopy" is an event coorganized by the SFB 1064 Chromatin Dynamics, the SFB 914 Trafficking of Immune Cells in Inflammation, Development and Disease, and the Core Facility. On two Tuesdays, 15. and 22. November, this extensive introduction or refresher course will be held for advanced users in the field of light microscopy, for example users of confocal microscopy. Participation is open to all interested and free of charge. We do ask for a registration however.
The STED Workshop from 06. - 09. December is targeted to a more specialized, international audience. Together with partners from, Leica Microsystems and SVI we have developped a program that focusses on the practical aspects of this new superresloution light microscopy technique.
