Imaging Neighbors
The Center for Advanced Light Microscopy (CALM) is located just across the street at the Biocenter, the building of the Faculty of Biology. CALM is hosted by the chair of Human Biology and BioImaging and features, among other instrumentation, an OMX microscope for 3D structured illumination and an Operetta System for automated high content throughput fluorescence microscopy.
The Biocenter also has a central electron microscopy. Then there ist the Cryo-Electron Microscopy Facility which is organized by the group of Roland Beckmann from the Gene Center.
The two neighboring Max Planck Institutes also have imaging facilities: the one of the MPI Biochemistry is here, the one of the MPI Neurobiology is here.
If your imaging site is missing in this list, please contact Steffen Dietzel to get included.
