The first Cover Image Recorded at the Core Facility Bioimaging

The journal "Blood" features an image by M. Salvermoser et al. on the cover of Vol 131, issue 17.

07.05.2018

The first cover image (we know of) that was recorded at the Core Facility Bioimaging was featured on the April 26, 2018 issue of the journal Blood. Melanie Salvermoser, Robert Pick, Ludwig T. Weckbach, Annette Zehrer, Phillip Löhr, Maik Drechsler, Markus Sperandio, Oliver Soehnlein and Barbara Walzog, most of them from the Walter-Brendel-Center of Experimental Medicine at the BMC, reported that Myosin 1f is specifically required for neutrophil migration in 3D environments during acute inflammation.

The image recorded on "Kellner" with reflection confocal microscopy shows a neutrophil in a collagen meshwork. Due to copyright reasons we rather not post the image here, but give the following links:

Congratulations from the Core Facility staff to the authors!
